FlareAny light that reaches the detector (i.e., the image sensor) other than through the designed optical path.
Stray LightAny light that reaches the detector (i.e., the image sensor) other than through the designed optical path.
Stray Light Path(s)The non-design path(s) light takes through the optics to produce stray light.
